The Chamber Orchestra of Pittsburgh concludes its 2023-24 season with “As Spring Turns to Summer,” a program that includes Strauss, Honegger, and Copland, with performances on June 1, 2024, 7:30pm, at Levy Hall in Rodef Shalom and June 2, 2024, 3:00pm at Bower Hill Community Church. Soprano Zuly Inirio joins the orchestra for a performance of Richard Strauss’s cycle Four Last Songs. The program rounds out with the enormously popular Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copland and Arthur Honegger’s Pastorale d’été.

Hailing from the Dominican Republic, Zuly Inirio has appeared as a soloist throughout the United States and Europe. Her roles include Mrs. Grose in The Turn of the Screw, First Lady in The Magic Flute, Gertrud in Hansel und Gretel, Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana, and scenes from Ariadne auf Naxos, Götterdämmerung, Falstaff, and Albert Herring.
